On Bank Holiday Sunday, 28 May, the Austin Beats began by playing several Beatles numbers, at the Rock ’n’ Roll Day at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, much to the enjoyment of great many people who had gathered to be entertained by the group! In the arena there was also a superb display of classic vehicles, from Jaguars to Chevrolets.
In the Victorian chapel, Kingston Daddy was spinning vinyls from the 1960s, much to the enjoyment of those present for the day. The Mardlers’ Rest café was kept busy throughout the day, serving food for the visitors, with the Travelling Bluebird serving toasties from a vintage van in the courtyard. Natural Born Grillers kept people happy with their tasty burgers and The Little Horse Box Bar served drinks for the thirsty folk.
